Rev Emmanuel James Owusu Bonsu - Board Chairman
Rev. James Owusu-Bonsu was elected member of the Board of Directors of the Bank in October 2011. Mr. Owusu is a Process Engineer and holds Msc. in Petroleum engineering from the Institute of Petrol and Gas- Romania. He has served in various highly rated institutions such as the Petroleum department of Ghana, Ministry of Fuel and power and the National Energy Board. He managed VANEF STC from 2000- 2002.
Hon Da-Costa Amoah Afrifa - Vice Chairman
Hon. Afrifa joined the Board of Directors on 29th October, 2011. He is a product of the University of Education, Winneba with a Bachelor degree in education. Hon. Afrifa had served as the Assemblyman for the Dominase Electoral Area of Bekwai District. He contributes to the effective functioning of the Board by bringing his in-depth knowledge in public administration to bear.
Dr. Anthony Darboh - Company Secretary
Dr. Anthony Darboh joined the bank's team as a Director on the 27th of September, 2012. Boasting a career that spans twelve years with Kwamanman Rural Bank Limited, where he rose through the ranks to the position of Supervising Manager, Dr. Darboh brings a wealth of knowledge in areas including Accounting, Banking, Auditing, Financial Analysis and Investment, and Taxation.
Dr. Darboh is an esteemed academic, holding a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology's School of Business. Furthermore, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Accounting, from Christian Service University College and also holds a Ghana Securities Industry Certificate from the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Her Ladyship Eudora Christina Dadson (Mrs) -- Member
Her Ladyship Eudora Christina Dadson (Mrs) is a High Court Judge and a Justice of the Superior Court of Judicature of the Republic of Ghana. She previously was the Acting Deputy
Registrar (Legal and Welfare Division), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Kumasi, Ghana. Again, she was a Managing Consultant Eudac Legal Concepts (Adonai Chambers); Notary Public; and Administrator for International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA-GHANA), 2002-201. She also served as Senior Partner for Holy Trinity Chamber (Adum-Kumasi).
Mrs Dadson attended Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and obtained a Master of Science (Development Policy & Planning) and a Master of Science (Security and Justice Administration).
Mr Patrick Owusu - Board Member
Mr. Patrick Owusu, a revered educator and entrepreneur, had the honor of being elected to the Board on the 30th of October, 2009. Mrs. Agnes Eyiah-Mensah
Mrs. Agnes Eyiah-Mensah brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a distinguished board member of Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank. With over two decades of professional experience spanning various sectors of the economy, Agnes is a seasoned entrepreneur known for her commitment to excellence and innovation.
Her impressive career includes positions such as her work in the Internal Audit Department of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) and her role as an Account Officer at Federated Commodities Company Limited, a prominent cocoa buying company.
Agnes's educational background is equally impressive, with an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from the Swiss Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from the University of Cape Coast, underscoring her dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
In addition to her extensive entrepreneurial endeavors, Mrs. Eyiah-Mensah currently serves as the Principal of DHI College of Health and Education. Her leadership extends further as she holds the position of Chief Executive Officer in various companies, including Turning Point Schools, Dosonec Limited, and Children First Assist.

Mr. Kwame Kyei Kusi
Mr. Kwame Kyei Kusi was officially inducted into the Board of Directors on October 22nd, 2022. As a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, he earned his degree from the esteemed Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Following an impressive tenure at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Mr. Kyei Kusi made the decision to venture into entrepreneurship and established the reputable Secom Pharmacy. Mr. Kyei Kusi now brings his vast experience and knowledge to Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank Ltd Board of Directors. His goal is to significantly contribute to the organization's growth and advancement, utilizing his unique professional background to enhance the performance and efficiency of the bank.
