Mr Patrick Owusu - Board Chairman

Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank Board of Directors is chaired by Mr. Patrick Owusu, an astute educationist who was elected onto the Board on 30th October, 2009.  Mr. Owusu is a professional teacher and a private business man. He coordinates the affairs of the Board with varying experiences. As a thoughtful person, Mr. Owusu is able to reach out to colleague Directors to consolidate ideas for the growth of the bank.

Hon Da-Costa Amoah Afrifa - Vice Chairman

Hon. Afrifa joined the Board of Directors on 29th October, 2011. He is a product of the University of Education, Winneba with a Bachelor degree in education. Hon. Afrifa had served as the Assemblyman for the Dominase Electoral Area of Bekwai District. He contributes to the effective functioning of the Board by bringing his in-depth knowledge in public administration to bear.

Ms Eudora Christina Oppong - Secretary

Ms. Oppong, a Legal practitioner was appointed to serve on the Board on 27th February, 2009. She holds a bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Barrister at Law (BL) from the University of Ghana. Ms. Oppong has held various positions with high profile institutions and societies and brings on board her rich experience in public administration, legal framework of the banking industry and legal regulations on labour relations. She currently serves as a Legal Officer for the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and Holy Trinity Chambers – Kumasi.

Nana Kwabena Osei Kuffour

Nana Osei Kuffour, a retired educationist, joined the Board in January, 2004. He is hardworking and a dedicated member and has contributed a lot to the success of the bank. Nana Osei Kuffour is also the Akwanserafo Hene of the Pakyi No.2 traditional area.

Mr Kwasi Poku Asamoah Addo

Mr. Asamoah Addo was elected unto the Board on 29th January, 2011. He has coordinated and managed varieties of enterprise-wide ICT solutions spanning across several industries including transportation, financial services and communication. Mr, Asamoah-Addo is a product of University of Ghana Business School and University of Massachusetts with Executive MBA and BSC Computer Science respectively. He is currently the Head of IT, Ghana Post Company Limited and brings his rich expertise in ICT to the bank’s advantage.


Rev Emmanuel James Owusu Bonsu

Rev. James Owusu-Bonsu was elected member of the Board of Directors of the Bank in October 2011. Mr. Owusu is a Process Engineer and holds Msc. in Petroleum engineering from the Institute of Petrol and Gas- Romania.  He has served in various highly rated institutions such as the Petroleum department of Ghana, Ministry of Fuel and power and the National Energy Board. He managed VANEF STC from 2000- 2002.

His vast working experience spanning form 1982 and having served on the Board of the bank from 1993-2001, puts him in the right light to help in the corporate governance of the bank.

Mr Anthony Darboh

He joined the service of the bank on 27th September, 2012. With twelve years experience through the ranks to become the Supervising Manager of Kwamanman Rural Bank coupled with his academic achievements, Mr. Darboh brings on board a broad knowledge in banking, auditing and taxation. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Christian Service University College. Mr. Darboh is an Associate Member of the Institute of Bankers (GH) and a Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants (GH). He holds an MSc in Finance, from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Techonology, Kumasi.
